💼 POSITION DETAILS
- Home Time: Home Daily
- Schedule: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off (Rotating)
- Shift Options:Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Hours:48 Hours One Week
- 36 Hours the Next (plus extra if covering shifts)
- Equipment: Spotter / Switcher
🚚 FREIGHT & OPERATIONS
- 100% No-Touch Freight
- Trailer switching between mill and warehouse
- Door-to-door trailer movement
Job Overview:
- Local yard operations in Franklin, VA
- Working alongside another spotter in a team environment
- Industrial setting with continuous trailer movement
⚠️ Physical Requirements:
- Frequent in/out of truck during 12-hour shifts
- Setting jack stands and wheel chocks
- Must work in all weather conditions
- Driving on paved and uneven surfaces
- PPE required at all times
💰 PAY & COMPENSATION
- 1st Shift Average: $945/week
- 2nd Shift Average: $987/week
Hourly Pay:
- Day Shift: $22.50/hour
- Night Shift: $23.50/hour
💵 Additional Pay:
- $200 Quarterly Safety Bonus
- Holiday Pay (based on 52-week average)
- Vacation Pay (based on 52-week average)
- Hazmat Pay: $75 per load (Hazmat preferred, not required)
📋 REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL A License
- Minimum 12 Months Experience Required
- Must be able to handle physically demanding work
- Must maintain strong safety awareness and teamwork
- Must be able to pass DOT physical & drug screening
